Implant Sciences manufacturers a handheld device to detect explosive
vapors that is more sensitive than any other existing device. The
patented technique detects the presence of parts per trillion (ppt)
of explosive molecules without physical contact and provides feedback
in real time. The vapor detection process identifies all explosives
including ammonium nitrate, black powder, dynamite, detasheet, C4,
HMX, PETN, RDX, Semtex, TATP, and TNT. Vapors can be detected from
all surfaces including; cloth, skin, plastic, metal, rubber, paper,
soil, and cartons. Clients for the Quantum Sniffer device include
the U.S. government and numerous foreign governments.
