The Bushmaster Entry A2 Carbine is designed for situations requiring
a rugged firearm with high firepower. It features a 11.5" barrel
with a 1 in 9" twist barrel that is chrome lined for maximum
longevity and accuracy, as well as ease of maintenance. The barrel
also features a mil. spec. manganese phosphate outer coating to
insure complete protection against corrosion or rust. Also, a "birdcage"
style flash suppressor/compensator is incorporated featuring a closed
bottom to eliminate a dust signature when firing from the prone
position. The M16A2 rear sight system is incorporated offering dual
flip-up apertures. The light weight, 7075T6 aircraft quality aluminum
receivers are finished in a non-reflective mil. spec. hard anodize
for durability, and incorporate all M16A2 design improvements including
last round bolt hold-open and raised ridges for magazine release
button protection. The upper receiver features a forward assist
device and a cartridge case deflector. The Bushmaster Entry Carbine
operates in semi-automatic mode and accepts all capacity AR15/M16
type magazines.
