HVT
The all new HVT Suppressor is a shorter, lighter, more efficient .30 caliber general purpose rifle suppressor than the TPR-S suppressor it replaces. The totally new baffle stack (patent pending) offers reduced weight as well as improved sound performance. Designed specifically for the 7.62x51 mm NATO (.308 Win) cartridge, it delivers outstanding performance on any bolt action tactical or semi-automatic rifle. It is offered either with a standard 5/8-24 thread mount or the new, maintenance free Gemtech Quik-Mount mounting systems (patents pending).
The HVT has an unusually quiet sound signature that is indistinguishable from and masked by the bullet flight noise, making it ideal for both urban and rural tactical operations. Recoil and flash reduction are unparalleled.
The all new Gemtech Quik-Mount mounting system (patents pending) provides the fastest, one-handed install — simply push and twist — with no gates, levers, or locks. There are no wire springs to lose tension or break (allowing the suppressor to unscrew), and there are no flash hider external threads with potential for damage, loosening, or clogging with dirt. The mounting system assures consistent mounting with repeatable accuracy.
While the Quik-Mount retains backward compatibility with the original Bi-Lock flash hider mounting system, the mount has been totally re-designed for limited or no maintenance.
QUIK-MOUNT OPTIONS:
The Quik-Mounts muzzle adapters are the patented Bi-Lock flash-hider/mounts and are torqued into position to assure utmost accuracy. Additional Bi-Lock mounts are available in order that the HVT suppressor may be used with multiple .30 caliber rifles.
THREAD MOUNT OPTIONS:
Thread mounting HVT suppressors normally are threaded 5/8-24, an industry standard. On special order, the thread mount version HVT can be supplied with metric M18x1 threads found on a number of European rifles.
SUBSONIC AMMUNITION:
Subsonic ammunition utilizing heavy, boat-tail projectiles do not stabilize adequately to avoid baffle contact in barrels with a twist rate slower than 1 turn in 8 inches. This ammunition is used at the owner's risk, and damage caused by subsonic ammunition is not covered under warranty.
