Description: The D-451 Multi Ultra Flash Diversion Munition consists of a black and red cylinder shaped canister with a yellow label topped by a classic spoon and pin M201-A1 Bouchant fuze.

Incapacitation Mechanism/Technology: The D-451 Multi Ultra Flash Diversion Munition has an approximately one second delay. The device ejects seven (7) separate sub-munitions that explode randomly over a 3 second period. Each blast produces a brilliant flash and a thunderous report of approximately 135 dB. In addition to the blasts, each sub-munition also produces a shower of white-hot sparks.
