The VIPER mounts securely on the unmodified M10 and M11 Ingram submachine gun barrels with a unique mount that prevents unintentional loosening or unscrewing during use. Initial installation is simple, and subsequent installation and removal simply involves sliding the suppressor handguard forward to disengage the locking mechanism. Versions are made for both the 9mm M10/M11 and the .45 M10.

Although smaller than the Sionics design, the VIPER significantly outperforms the original while maintaining the classic appearance. In addition to being a part of the locking mechanism, the rear four inches is an oversized heat shield, knurled for a cool, positive grip.

It is the quietest dedicated suppressor available for the most popular submachine gun ever marketed in this country.
