Description: A steel body manufactured using state of the art DOM (Drawn over Mandrel) Technique. This procedure provides for the tightest industry repeatable specifications. The end ports are manufactured utilizing the latest CNC machinery from the strongest corrosion free commercially available aluminum available(7075). This unique device has a large venturi port designed to permit fluid gas flow which mitigates movement and enhances heat dissipation. This combination of technologies permits this body to be used 40 times. This device can be reloaded without a cleaning kit or having to retap the threads. The ALS09's (Diversionary Reload) unique water resistant capabilities make this an ideal Diversionary device for inclement weather operations.
History/Background: This device was developed as a diversionary device for use in a variety of applications. The ALS09 FUZE, RELOAD must be used in conjunction with the ALS4140.
Potential Targets/Applications: Prison/Civil Rioters/Tactical Entries.
Primary Users: Law Enforcement, Military.
Incapacitation Mechanism/Technology: The Steel body used in conjunction with the FUZE, DIVERSIONARY DEVICE RELOAD has an approximate 1 to 1.5 second delay device which produces a brilliant flash and a thunderous report of approximately 169-174 dB at 5 feet. It will normally cause disorientation for 1 to 3 seconds.
